We absolutely love our shadesock! So quick and easy to assemble. The best part is, there is no noise. We’ve had so many people stop by and ask us what it is and where to find it. We need a QR code on it. Lol
Worked great on our family vacation to Oak Island, NC. We had several people ask about it and handed out a few of the cards that we found in the bag. We are even considering a second one for next summer!

We brought this shade sock to the beach and it ended up being one of the best purchases we’ve made. It was quick and easy to set up, even with a little breeze, and it stayed secure throughout the day. The amount of shade it provided made a huge difference, especially during the hottest part of the afternoon. The fabric allowed plenty of airflow, so it felt much cooler underneath than sitting under a regular beach umbrella. It gave our family plenty of room to relax, and we didn’t have to keep chasing shade as the sun moved. If you spend any amount of time at the beach, I highly recommend adding one of these to your gear. It’s lightweight, packs down easily, and makes a long beach day much more comfortable. It’s the easiest thing to set up and I’ve tried some other so called “easy” contraptions that wound up in the donate pile. We’ll definitely be bringing it on every beach trip from now on.

I was a little nervous ordering this from overseas, but it was absolutely worth it! The ShadeSock was much larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Setup was incredibly easy and only took a few minutes. I tested it at the beach with my family, and it created a large, comfortable shaded area. It caught the wind well and stayed inflated throughout the day. It was perfect for relaxing between swimming and surfing. I also love the design. It reminds me of a traditional Japanese koinobori (carp streamer), which makes it look stylish and unique. I believe I may be one of the first people to use a ShadeSock in Japan. I would be proud to be a ShadeSock ambassador and help introduce this wonderful invention to more people here! The quality feels excellent, and my whole family loved it. First off i apologize I didnt realize i mounted it upside down 😂-but it still worked—I was hesitant about this product with so much other options online. But this was the best purchase I ever made for my beach accessories. The set up was super easy. The quality of the material was amazing. And being so quiet while the wind was steady was the amazing and the consistent shade covering unlike those competitors that were flopping in the wind was hands down awesome!! Definitely turned heads with curiosity. I would definitely recommend those who are looking for a great shade covering for the beach to go for it. You won’t be disappointed!!

Great design and easy set up. I ordered it on a Sunday and requested priority delivery. I actually got an email and phone call from the manufacturer (on Sunday) to clarify shipping details. Yes, a real person contacted me on a Sunday. I received it 4 days later and did a quick setup to test the product - easy setup and works great. The Shade Sock was the sexiest shade canopy on our beach :)

I used the shade sock for the first time and it worked pretty good with Wind but it kept changing direction. Second day less wind and it would not stay up.
Easy to put together gives plenty of shade! Much bigger than I imagined. Great size for a family.
The ShadeSock, makes no flapping noise, provides good shade and is relatively easy to setup. It could be simpler to set up and lighter to carry by using graphite rods connected to a the H rather than aluminum tubing. The connections do bind when sand gets in the joints, a tow ended brush (one female, one male) to clean fittings would be a nice touch. I have a Valera green screen that uses light rods that push into a central fitting that might be lighter and easier to set up. The H and U joints should be a different color than sand so they are easier to find, yet not a distraction. For putting it away, I have found removing the U’s and The H, but leaving the rods in place, folding in half and rolling the entire thing up is easier and quicker.
This does work very well for sure and is easy to set up. We got a lot of comments and questions so super smart of you to send the business cards so we could hand them out. Smart design and we will be packing this on the next trip!
Jobean’s Beach Shade Shack is hands down the best beach shade I’ve ever used. It does need a bit of wind to stay fully lifted, but honestly, even a soft breeze gives it this light, almost magical feel. It makes the whole beach setup more enjoyable. Setup is incredibly easy. I can have it up or taken down in under five minutes without any hassle. No complicated parts, no frustration. Since getting it, my beach days have honestly felt blissful. If you spend a lot of time by the water, this is absolutely worth it!

I think the photos speak for themselves. One person can set this up (2 is better), but once it’s up, just enjoy endless shade all day long. I’ve had this flying in 2kt winds and today it’s 14kts. It just works! Worth every penny.

Quick and easy shade, period.
After watching the other brand (you know which one I am talking about) flapping in the wind and making all that noise I was amazed at how quite mine was. Also had a woman ask me where I bought mine which was Amazon. Loved it so much I bought one directly from the manufacturer at a better price. Plan is to combine both to create an even larger one! Love it!
Instead of fighting the wind at the beach you get to take advantage of it. We had two other couples stop to get your info from us.
As long as the wind is strong enough and steady enough this is a good product. I have not tried it with the rubber grommet in the screw assembly at the top to dampen the sway yet because I didn’t know it was in the package until after my beach trip. The sway was minimal on this trial run so the shade was pretty consistent.

I love the concept and amount of design details that went into this product. It is, of course, dependent on favorable winds. On our recent trip to NC's Outer Banks, we only got to use it successfully a couple of times. This was not a design flaw, but due the the combination of a narrow beach (eroded,) high dunes, and winds that came from over the dunes rather than the usual winds coming off the water. The gusts and vortex made the Shade Sock unusable, even with the tie-down stakes. We have always been umbrella people, and I have resisted buying the very popular Shibumis because of the noise and wind hassles. The Shade Sock is silent and, when you have normal steady winds, works perfectly. Setup is pretty easy once you have done it the first time. Unfortunately, this time we had to use umbrellas 90% of the time, which I am used to, but the Shade Sock is so much easier to tote to the beach. If there is one suggestion that I could make, it would be to replace the elastic low-wind tie-down cords with regular cords, as the sock sagged too much when the wind died.
It worked very well. It would be even better if the elastic cords for keeping it in position were longer. I was approached by a guy wanting info on it. I gave him one of the business cards that came with the ShadeSock. We were the only people on Oceanside beach that had one.
We ordered the shadesock and our order got lost in transit. I contacted the company and the owner personally called us and shipped a new one which we received the next day. Amazing customer service and I'm looking forward to taking our shadesock on holidays with us when we travel.
The shade sock is great - except when you want to take it down. Sand gets in all the parts of the support and it can be hard to disassemble. If the parts could stay in the sock it might help. It’s very quiet when up, but unfortunately difficult to put away.

These things are so cool. I love it! It moves in the wind slightly to keep the seagulls out of our lunch. When the wind dies we put strings on the end. Its perfect. It doesn't block the view! It doesn't take much wind to keep it inflated.
